Would you trust these hubs?
I like the look, but I'm wary. Seller is in Taiwan. Who knows who manufactured them. Should I give it a shot? Or am I looking at high medical bills?

Yes, and off the top of my head, looks like Bitex. If you like the high flange look I think Velo Orange and Handsome Cycles have similar hubs. I've got a set of wheels I built with the Handsome Cycles hubs. They are nice, but I don't know if they do Campagnolo freehubs.

Makes a huge difference whether or not that you know that the hubs were actually made by a reputable maker such as Bitex.
But in general, buying bike parts from vendors with little in the way of state-side assets is risky, as without liability concerns their design, testing and QA standards might be very, very low.
As a lightweight rider who does lower mileage on any one particular set of wheels, and who doesn't tension the spokes very highly, I would have much less to worry about than other potential users. That, and (according to the IRS) I've only got 25 years left to live anyway.

I own a set of the large flange LL-62 hubs. Machine work is pretty good, easy to disassemble, a nice clear anodized finish a very simple hub and supported by the manufacture as I have ordered service parts and a spare freehub, no issues and quick shipping. I consider these a "fashion" item as the bling factor is high. I would call these serviceable, probably wont last forever but then again what does.
So I would consider these LLL hubs cheap and cheerful
I also own a set of Curtis Odem hubs of the same drilling pattern so no comparison as far as workmanship but Curtis isn't building at the moment and his prices were eyewatering at the time I bought mine, that makes LLL the only game in town for this style hub.
This set is going on a '83 Colnago Super.

Nemosengineer , Thanks a lot. I just decided against them and now you put me on the fence again. I'm a light rider, but I ride a lot. The ones you have definitely have less material than the ones I'm considering.

I would. It costs too much to make a ****** version like that so the company may as well aim higher in order to make a better profit. Keep in mind that a lot of the products we pay too much for are made in these same factories that then stamp the names of the US company that bought a bunch from them.
One thing I never cared about some of the Velo Orange branding is that it was cheap laser engraving of off the shelf products like these. I like velo orange but if I'm going to pay their premium they should at the very least brand them better.
