Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Team RyanF Kit Order!

I've agreed to organized this little effort to get this fine kit ordered. This is the only place where items and size info will be posted otherwise it's just going to be too confusing. So please post what you want and your size for each piece.

I'll work with tappets (thanks for the design work!) to get the info to champ-sys since I think we've got a nice finalized jersey and shorts/bibs.

A 50% deposit is required to place an order once the proof has been accepted. I suggested prepayment via PayPal once we have enough people on board. Anyone else have any suggestions regarding payment?

The delivery time is ~8 weeks from proof approval.

I'll post more if it occurs to me.

[edit]
Sorry for the delay in getting this list done but I've had to do some real work.

AnthonyG - S jersey, S bibknicks
[strikethrough]Blacksquid - XL jersey, L shorts[/striketrough]
sweetnsourbkr - M jersey
palesaint - M jersey, M shorts
superdex - L jersey, L bibsshorts
Hardheadmandca - XXL jersey, XXL bibshorts
Ih8lucky13 - XL jersey, XL bibshorts
wolfpack - XL jersey, EITHER a women's XL short OR a men's L short
labbyz - L jersey, XL bibshorts
Savagewolf - L jersey, L bibshorts
chipcom - XL jersey, XL bibshorts
Jinker - XL jersey, XL bibshorts

Looks like we've got the requisite number of jerseys! I'm going to get the pricing info on this post and I'l PM tappets to see if any progress has benn made on the art.
[/edit]

Thanks blacksquid for taking it on. Actualy I think we should pay 100% upfront before you have to pay anything and make sure you cover all your costs. I think we should all put in a little more to cover you for your efforts.

I'll take 1 jersey and 1 bibknicks in small for both.

Regards, Anthony

Count me in for one (1) medium shirt/short combo. What's a full kit entail? Socks also?

Don't forget link to Champion site : https://www.champ-sys.com/index.asp?i...20Price%20List

Looking forward to seeing what the final design is.

When the order for the BF jersey was done it was 100% prepaid with a specific cutoff date to get your order in.

It was the price of the jersey plus $10 to cover shipping to you, purchase of envelopes, and shipping to individuals.

$10 seems reasonable to cover shipping & handling. How did the prepayment work? As I said, I'm new to this so it'll be a learning experience.

You should PM SPongeDad, he set this up for the BF jersey.

People were able to Paypal money directly to his account and only once he had received the money, did he order the jerseys.

If this actually happens, and you handle the money, I'd be willing to have the jerseys shipped to my warehouse where I can distribute them to those who ordered. Just my way of giving back a little to this great forum.

I think firewood with my name and picture stamped on it might sell a little better around here...

Or maybe dartboards.

Must say I don't understand the fascination with what amounts to a poorly educated troll. Maybe someday I will "get it"

Less posting, more slicin', dicin', and stitchin'. You'll get it then.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

I sort of get it. But then again, I'm not thinking too hard.

You and this Ryanf character are polar opposites. While you really work at being a respected member-Ryan can just let it all hang out and be himself. A Ryanf Jersey is more of a way we can all laugh about our silly obsession with cycling. I think that you guys would be a great team. You could learn a lot from eachother through your oppositeness.

If you wear the kit are you expressing admiration, or mockery?

Spending time and money to do either is just really, really disturbing.

well in any case, love it or leave it, PM me with suggestions for ART. blacksquid will deal with sizes and order related info. this is a free time project for me, so it may be next week before we have a black and white comp ready for proofing, changes etc. i'll scramble up another color mock up after we're mostly happy with everything.

blacksquid, i agree with anthonyg. i got royally screwed on a hockey jersey deal casue i only got a portion up front. hold out for nothing less than 100%. it may require a bit of extra math when we officially drope the hamer on the project, but it could save you a major headache, especially eith people you don't really know.

take care!

One option is a ryanf inspired "brike forrm" jersey. take the other bike forum one and really mess it up.
