Modern frame with vintage parts? Show us what you got!
Sure, modern parts on a vintage frame makes more sense, but I imagine a few of you have the reverse. Show off any bikes you have that were made within the last 10 years, that contain parts over 20 years old. And please explain why you would do such a thing.
I'll start. Here is Zombie, my 2016 Trek 520. Why is she named Zombie? Because she was killed by a careless rider who did not leave enough seatpost in the frame, breaking off the top of the seat tube. I saw a dead frame with potential, and Eric at Peacock Groove had the necromancy skills required to weld her back to life. My goal building her up was a functionally modern fast and versatile ride, with not too much money invested. This meant finding parts at a swap meet, in my parts stash, and elsewhere, saving the real money for the things that matter, like saddle, bars, and wear items.
Vintage parts include:
Shimano STX-RC rear derailleur, upgraded with 10-speed Tiagra pulleys and Wolf Tooth Road link. Works great with the 10-speed 11-36 cassette.
Shimano STX crank set with new chainrings to make a 46/30 double.
Shimano RX100 front hub, laced to a new Mavic Open Sport. The black spokes are due to the shop not having enough silver in stock to build an entire wheel.
3/4 Shimano Deore XT Cantilever, 1/4 Shimano Deore LX cantilever brakes. The XT set had one ruined arm, and apparently the LX is identical except for color.
Jim Blackburn front and rear racks.

Does this count? 2014 ANT frame, built up with parts that are mostly modern versions of 1930s (or earlier) technology, plus an original (and basically NOS when I got it) Sturmey-Archer quadrant shifter. I also had a vintage Campagnolo seatpost on it originally, until I upgraded from a Velo Orange Model 8 to a Brooks B66 that I took off my 1937 Raleigh Tourist when I got an antique one for that bike

In my book, the OP's bike is a modern frame with slightly less modern parts.
I keep forgetting that we have had brifters, and 9 or more cogs on the freehub for some time now.

This isn't either here nor there, but this is the first time I've seen the "jim blackburn" logo like this, in this location on one of the "wraparound" front racks.
As an aside to @Arrowana- that rack will level out if you mount the leg to the lower braze-on with a spacer to clear the fork leg.

My 2016 Trek Emonda was built up for a short while with 9-speed stuff from ~1997-2003: 7700 Dura-Ace shifters, 6500 Ultegra brake calipers, running a 13-26T Veloce cassette (Campy splined hubs, wheels off a '16 Raleigh Record Ace). Then a bunch of 7800 pieces: FD, RD, and crankset. The Emonda was a full two generations newer (of Dura-Ace) from my newest groupset piece. Looked great, IMO, as it broke up the black everything-ness.

Yeah, yeah, not really though... But maybe? Kinda? Totally modern drivetrain and brakes... the only classic stuff are the wheels, tires, cranks, saddle, bottle cages, stem and bars? And are the late 90s C&V now? We are talking 2+ decades ago....
Either way, I dig that bike. I'd happily throw a leg over it and ride off into the sunset....

I bought this Cervelo SuperProdigy ages ago (seller had a back problem, hence the hybrid set-up) and have since sorted it out properly with a Record group but, as pictured, it came with a minty set of Dura Ace 9-speed derailleurs that I didn't really know what to do with so.......
I bought some 9-speed Dura Ace downtube shifters and threw them on my Pegoretti Marcelo. I really dig it but I am playing around with the fit so forgive all the extra housing and cables. The headtube looks a bit nuts but it is a really great bike, I love it.
