You have a bike that was at the top of the pile in 1973. There were certainly some equal but I dont think you can find a better racing bike from the era than that. I recently finished a 'restoration' on a 74 with a complete paint job (different to not mistake it for original) and I couldnt be happier. I have about $600 into it so you got a much better deal. If you repaint, use real paint not powder coat.
