Help identifying steel Bianchi Volpe
Can anyone help me put a year to this bike? Here's some specs:
Derailleur: Suntour XC-Expert
Shifters: Suntour AccuShift Plus
Brakes: Dia-Compe XC-Expert
Frame: Superset II Tange-Cro-Mo Double Butted
Fork: Tange-Cro-Mo Unicrown Force Directional
Cranks: Sakae SXC
Handlebar: Sakae Modolo X Hybrid
Hubs: Sansin 5345
BB: 1.37 X24T Hatta Sealed
Wheels: Araya 7000
Tires: Bianchi Cross Terrain Dakar-LT 700 x 35
The chainstay has a label that says "Cross Terrain", the seat's definitely not original (pedals too?) but I suspect the rest is. It is a solid sweet ride and I just can't find any info on it, thanks.

If it's salmon colored it's the first year.
If you provide the serial number someone will probably decode it for you.

what color is it? What style of shifter? Are they bar ends or the “butterfly” Command Shifters mounted next to the brake levers? If it has a dance sticker that says SuperSet II it might be a ‘93ish model.

Hi Bianchigirll I've been reading a lot of your posts, was hoping you'd see this one. I can't attach a pic, not allowed because do not have enough posts up yet. Anyway, it's white, has the thumb/butterfly shifters, and the decal on the downtube says Superset II. The serial number on the BB is KS937537 with a VP stamped right below it. It measures 48cm from top of tube to center bb which is OK for me due to severe shortitude.

Do the decals look like this? If they do it is probably a ‘90

Serial number indicates it was manufactured in Japan during November 1989, so it should be a 1990 model.

Thanks T-Mar and B_girll, it sure does sound like 1990 is right, it does say made in japan. Couldn't open your img bianchigirll so who knows. Any Bianchi catalog pics from '90? Also what could the "VP" beneath the SN mean?

I recently bought a used Bianchi Volpe. It's my first where bike and I love the look of it, but I would love to know around what year it was made.
serial: H7B 10332
100tiagra front derailleur and shifters, Deore rear. Cane creek headset.
55cm height
the fork says made in taiwan
I believe this is the Celeste green color I've seen posted in this thread before.
I would love to post pics, but it looks like I have to make 10 posts on here before I could do so
