This is a 1981 (I think) Voyageur 11.8 road bike with a 25" frame. The frame is Japanese-built from double-butted chrome-moly steel tubing with lugs and forged dropouts and fork ends. Seat tube: 25", top tube: 22 1/2", standover: 34 1/2". You'll need to be 6 feet or over to be comfortable on this bike. It has fenders, toe clips and straps, pump, water bottle cage, and a light alloy luggage rack. The bike has light alloy rims, hubs, seat post, bars, stem, and crank. The derailers are Shimano and the brakes are Dia-Compe side-pulls. It has a new Suntour bottom bracket with less than 100 miles on it. Wheels are 27". Tires are old but have decent rubber and hold pressure well. Please respond with a phone number.

IT MUST BE PICKED UP EITHER TODAY IN THE BOSTON AREA, OR TOMOROW MORNING BETWEEN 9:30 AND 10:30AM, OR BETWEEN 5-7PM IN CANTON. Peugeot PX-10 reynolds 531 tubing made in france. in very good condition. a perfect fixed gear conversion as it has very few braizeons. all the cable guides come off giving a very clean appearace. Originally equiped with tubular tires. Most had been converted to 27's even as new, since that was the popular size back then. I have some vintage 700c mavic rims with 700x20 michelins now with helico hubs on the bike. the origingal owner swapped out the levers and shifters, to be more upright, as was the the way shops did it back then, but this bike is going to become a fixed gear for someone, i know that. I have been riding it as a nice retro ride, and it is really nice. $200 you get the wheels $100 I keep the wheels any less, the bike is not for sale. My winter plans are to change the bars to a more comfortable shape for me new brake levers, pads and ride it as-is.
sella italia concours seat, (green leather, over foam) aluminum post, shimano components horizontal dropouts, sakae cranks.
the reynolds crown fork is probably worth 50 on ebay.

LeMANS(1970-1989): The model which introduced the Centurion brand and probably the most popular model through 1984. It evolved constantly over the years, with 1970s versions being entry level with hi-tensile frames, while the late 1980s LeMans RS models were more upscale with Tange #2 main tubes paired with lesser grade Mangaloy or CrMo stays and forks. Components varied significantly, depending on the year.

Cleaning out the basement and need to rid of some things and found this from previous renters.
I don't know much about bikes but a friend says this is "in great shape for it's age" and that I should ask much more, but I just want to get rid of this stuff.
Internet searching around tells me this is a British bicycle from 1957. The seat itself is quite a sight. From the Sun Bicycle Company.
