That is a splendid frame. i keep seeing pics, and wondering about how much it'll go for. the photos are really perfect too.

no offense or anything, but where is the allure in that frame ?

the seatstay top caps look like they were pounded out with a hammer and nail..
the track ends look glued to the stays... the headbadge looks like a puking zombie dawg..
the fork crown looks like garbage too but i can't think of a good way to describe it..

just wondering...

hey... that hurts. Up until 2 weeks ago I had one of those. Well, not exactly, but mine was a Gitane kilo that bore a striking resemblance to that Peugot. Same frame - I'd stake my wheels on it.

It's all about the black and orange. Well, that plus the "rarity" of Peugot track frames. I'm thinking it'll go north of $500. And people complain about the price of NJS bikes.

It's a good bike, nice and tight, and stiff enough for me, but yeah, it's pretty rough around the edges.

back to our regular programming

another pretty/ugly frame

Two years (or so) ago, nashbar used to stock pretty much every color imaginable of selle italia turbos, turbo specials, lady turbos, you name it. In both the smooth and perforated flavors. All NOS. For around $25 each. At the time I thought that was steep. I bought 5 different ones, I should have bought 50 or 500. Those are my trust fund.

$650 for that is "basically a steal"? You might be on to something there.

anybody in need of 560 and 540 twins?

540 and 560 twins for sale. $1=2.86PLN
BB of one seems fillet brazed, the other is just plain thinned lugs.
