Oops. Forgot the 3 very drunk girls standing on the side of University Blvd in Denver during the Moonlight Classic flashing all 10,000 participants. Bet their arms were tired when they woke up...with a hangover...wondering why their arms hurt so much

Riding a trail on the east side of Mt. Hood one time, the person in front of me rode over a small rattlesnake.

Two coyotes chasing my dog while he and I were on a mountain bike ride. The pooch stayed pretty close after that.

Once while mountain biking on a trail in Cherokee Park (in Louisville KY), I suprised two gay men going at it. I flew past them so fast that they tripped over each other and fell into the bushes.

Now as to what I've seem on a ride:
The following(all road rides, animals on dirt rides hardly count).
Deer, Tarantulas, Rattlesnakes (dead and alive, one coiled just inches from the side of the road) and best of all since I was toast at teh time circling vultures (fortunatly there was road kill and they were not after me).
I once passed a dying pedestrian, police and paramedics already on the scene.
A stolen and stripped car that no one wanted to investigate.
A large dead fish miles from the closest water I knew of.
A penny from near the turn of the century (early 1900s).
ANd finally on the Land rush in the middle of nowhere a street post when the single lane road (that is one lane total) turned right and changed names. Rather like the street light from 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'.

Most disturbing thing I have ever seen was an over turned cattle car that spilled cows all over the road. A couple of dead animals, a few other cows suffering on the road, and many others wandering around moaning.

That was the funniest thing ever. The video isn't great, but breaking through the sound of my laughter is a guy yelling "lightning bolt" as he is faking throwing said "lightning bolt" at some other geek. Thank you so much for that link.

A woman next to her car, pulling her skirt up way too high and squatting to take a piss. I kept looking for a camera crew like she was shooting some exhibitionist porno or something.
3 dead rattlesnakes, which is only random because that's 3 in a single 30 mile ROAD ride.
Some church group holding a car wash fundraiser started shouting at us to get our bikes washed by them.

Back in the 1980's I was riding a local back road on a Saturday morning and I could see up ahead a number of county sheriff's cars. On the trunk of one of the cruisers was a dead bald eagle. Nearby on the road was a dead armadillo. My guess is that the eagle was snacking on the dad 'diller and a sheriff's deputy hit him with his vehicle. I'm sure that he had a whole weekend of paperwork to fill out after that incident.
On a recent ride I got to see a Preakness winner, but only because I was riding with a friend that knows someone that works at a very huge horse farm. By huge I mean almost 2000 acres! It was a BLAST riding around there!
Added in edit: I just remembered two real gems!
Once I was riding on an early Sunday morning and an A-10 (a heavily armored fighter jet for those that don't know) flew over me at about 100 ft. I'm pretty sure it was flying out of Eglin AFB as part of the flight test wing. It scared the cr*p out of me! It was so low that I could see all the rivets.
The second one was riding on Marion County Road 320. It was just after then Vice-Prez Bush was implicated in the mysterious trip to Paris just before the 2000 election. He went away to hide for the weekend at a horse farm in Florida that I just happened to be riding past. Damn there were a lot of marked and unmarked police vehicles along that road.

Rode through the scene of a massive motocycle accident the morning after. Quite disturbing. County crews didn't care enough to clean it up. Took months to shake the whole thing from my head.

lets see:
one large pink ***** sitting on the double yellow.I figure someone must have sneezed at the wrong moment and it ended up in the road. Just a guess
guy standing by himself at a T intersection way out in the country stairing of into the distance.I rode past cautiously not knowing what his deal was. when i get close he says "heifer got loose". I look left and sure enough there was the hefier 200 yds away.outside the fence.
a ground hog that got stuck under the front wheel of first guy in the paceline. He pushed it about 15 feet before finally rolling over it. Almost crashed out 10 guys in the process.
tucked into a group of harley guys and rode with the pack, side by side for about a mile(city streets-they were goin slow). Them in their leather ,me in my spandex. Still makes me giggle thinkin about it.
watched a guy flip his motorcycle over a car hood from about 12 feet away
etc.

A seagull once flew into my rear wheel. Thank God for those huge clunky 32's, not even messed up, but that bird's beak was!

I'm not sure this counts because I instigated it:
Me and one of my riding buddies have started blowing through the Sears automotive repair garage when we cut through the mall parking lot once in a while. Last time through, there was this guy in there with a clipboard, asked me if I wanted my tires rotated.
Other than that, I came upon the scene of a three car crash one night, and the middle car burst into flames right as I got there. Everyone was out and safe.

Riding cross bike along rail trail a couple weeks ago I came across a group of amish riding their bikes....one of them had aero bars on his bike........I tried to get a rotating pace line going but they wouldn't pull through no matter how loud I yelled at them to do some work!

I passed an Amish girl who was rollerblading down the road. She was swinging her arm like a speed skater, and was hauling butt. I passed her really slow, said hello, got nothing back, except an empty stare. Got a wierd "children of the corn" feeling.
Almost expected to look back and see nothing there....
