Follis 10 speed. I stopped today and took a look at it. About 52-53cm ctc seat tube, about a 56cm ctc top tube, 27" tires, steel rims, Stronglight cranks, bolt-on derailleur hanger, barend shifters. The owner is probably the original owner. The seat tube looks a little questionable for stuck-ness, I wasn't buying it right then so I didn't ask if I could see if the seattube was free. Condition is original and well used but not overly trashed, just basement neglected and needing attention. Paint condition I didn't look too closely at. I think she is stuck on wanting a $50 for it. I'd guess the pedals are French threaded by the looks of them, maybe, hard to say for certain.
Nice post... especially since the CL listing has absolutely no information.

Thanks,
I was curious about this one and wanted to see it, I figured someone else might be curious about it too. Too small for me and the local market hasn't been flip friendly this year. I'd have taken a pic of it but I just switched phones and this new one doesn't have a flash on it and their room was too low of a light level to do much more than a shadow shot.

Hopefully I've helped someone and either motivated them or saved them a trip.

Whenever I see only a frame being sold, I have to suspect that it's a wreck survivor. Especially if it was used as a fixie. I'd have to really want a frame to assume that risk.

Hi, I have a 63 cm 1986/87 columbus steel frame . It has some condition problems, but that is to be expected from an older frame. I had it set up as a fixed gear, so the bottom bracket is still set up for this purpose. Mike 617 279 3713

Whenever I sell a frame it is because the frame doesn't fit me or because the bike became a parts donor.

It's going to get really interesting over the next several years as the c/f bikes begin to move into the parts market. The c/f crashed frame and forks are not as easy to identify nor verify soundness.

You don't sell the frame with the fork? You keep the fork? Sell it separately? That's nothing but warning bells to me, as it usually means the fork is bent from a head on collision (and the frame is likely to have some damage as well).

If I ever buy a CF frame-set, it sure won't be used.

I'm not sure which model this Falcon is, but I don't think many of them were of low quality... especially at $250. However, if you buy it, promise me that those straight bars will go.

This is a beautiful CrMo bike that has handpainted lugs and penstripes. It has a low range triple crank that will take your loads up the hills. Alloy rims amd good tires. I have taken the bike apart and repacked the wheels, BB, and headset. It has new tape wrap and a new chain. Shifting on this bike is smooth. This bike is ready to ride I built it for my commuter bike but was given a better bike. This one is hanging and the wife says it needs to go. This is a beautiful bike.

I'm on it Alan. I called and talked with the guy yesterday. I was just lucky enough to be looking on CL when it was listed.

Have an appointment with him on Saturday.

Hope there are some salvagable bits. I just organized my paint shed and have all my solvents ready to tackle that spray bomb paint job.

I'd almost bet money that's the same bike I sold to a guy from Portland a few months ago, although it had drops then. I sold it for less than that, but was ok with what it did bring.

Dear Bobby Corno:

I realize things are different in Bend. Certainly
you must derive a great deal of amusement
just from the goings-on in Portland, let alone
those down here in the Republic of Norcal.

Still, it seems unusually cruel to ridicule the
inseamingly challenged in circumstances like
this. Nonetheless, well played, sir.
