The top tube of this bike measures about 59.5 cm center to center, the seat tube measures about 52cm center to center- giving you a great long and low aero position. If you're around 5'9" or under and you wanted to put upright handle bars on it, it could work for you as well- I'm 5'9" and that's how I rode it. I have pics of it built up both ways at the bottom of the page. I also have any other parts you might need to build it up. All components are original.
bike was professionally tuned one month ago.
bottom bracket and all hubs were lubed.
new brake pads installed.
new tires.
Sugino cranks.
new tires.
it's a rare vintage model in mint condition.
ebay sells non columbus voyageurs for 600$.
bike is incredibly light.
no tire kickers or people who only have 200$. this particular bike is worth more than 300$.

Are all Ideale saddles collectible? I thought only the aluminum railed versions were commanding such high prices...

NB. this a very desirable vintage (collectible) saddle, hence the price.
I used this saddle on one of my bikes. I am downsizing so this needs to go. A nice and comfortable saddle with a lot of mileage left. Very classy with rivets marked "Ideale" and the back maker's plate is still there. Nice branding on the leather but fading a bit more on the left side. Leather not lose around rivets. It is slightly dry in the front and I think it needs a bit of conditioner to bring it to its full potential. It is a little squeaky because it needs to be tightened a bit. I'll leave the buyer to tighten it. The rails are good and there is some rust spot on the front plate as shown in picture 2 and on the rib that holds the rails at the back (last photo.) Inside looks good.
