Hi from Queens, NY
I hope this finds you well.
I'm so very grateful to have found this forum and I look forward to communicating with other folding bike enthusiasts.
I'm the proud owner of a Dahon Vitesse D5. It is my major means of transportation around the Borough of Queens here in New York City, and for transportation to and from our greater metropolitan subway system.
I also own a Cannondale, which I've had since the 1980s. But I must admit, even though I love my Cannondale dearly and always will, I love my folding bike more. I find that my folder is so much more compatible with urban life.
I look forward to communicating with you, learning more about this forum, and learning more about bicycling, which has always been the love of my life ... next to my wife, my sons, and my granddaughters, of course.
Thanks for your time and please accept my
Best regards.

A Dahon Vitesse, huh? Very nice. I saw a few people on fully loaded Dahons touring around the country. Welcome to BF Skip!

Hey, Skip, where are you in Queens? I'm out in Forest Hills. I've got a Dahon Speed P8 and I agree with you -- the folding bike is so much better for everyday use. Have you ever been on a 5BBC ride? (See 5bbc.org)
