I had been messaging with the seller for a couple of weeks trying to figure out logistics when this popped up on this thread, so -- maybe against my better judgment -- I bit the bullet and paid for it. Mrs. Noob will bring it back with her after a work trip to Sacto later this month. I get the feeling that, even if I leave this frame sitting dormant for a couple of years, I'll still appreciate it when I finally get to it. Maybe I'm right? Who knows, but it spoke to me for some reason.

To add to this, I recently picked up a Super Tourer (very similar frameset) for a friend that was converted to a single-speed and she loves it. Set it up with 700x32c Armadillo tires so she can ride around the city without worrying about punctures.
Those are AWESOME fixed and single-speed all-road bikes - here's how mine turned out - this would be an ideal frame for this setup!

@unworthy1 - I don't know the brand but it looks quality and more than worth the money. I'd have to consider a repaint (or powdercoat) as that bubbling rust would irk me.
