I only bought a computer 2 years ago, before then used Strava app on iphone which is adequate to track rides.

I think buying two pairs of Assiomas and performing the xpedo mtb pedal hack would cost the same, would probably be more dependable, and makes switching bikes a total non-issue.

I grew up on chicken livers, sautéed with onions or chopped or served on various canapés and used to love me a chopped liver and corned beef or turkey sandwich on rye with coleslaw and nice garlic pickle. Deli chopped liver was mainly beef, I was told. Doubt I could get that stuff down today.

It is not uncommon for me to quote and then delete. I don't realize how stupid it is until I see it in print.

I often get pho with tripe but don't care for menudo so much.
Speaking of fried nosebleed...
Once at a pho joint in Vancouver the little lady went all out and got the Bún bò Huế, which includes cubes of congealed pork blood. I ate one of those cubes and I think that'll do for the rest of my entire life.

My only chicken liver experience has been at Sammy's Roumanian Steakhouse in Manhattan. Chopped chicken liver, radish, fried onion, fried chicken skin and generously drizzled with schmaltz (liquid chicken fat) from a syrup bottle. It sounds like concoction that I would hate, but I really liked it.

I was perusing the Facebook Marketplace, and I saw a listing for "Vintage Bianchi Steal Bike". It was priced at $300, which isn't much of a steal for that bike.

All this talk of offal is making me hungry for a steak and kidney pie. or maybe a black pudding. or possibly even both. It does make my lunch of cheese and crackers seem inadequate.

I spent summers and holidays with my grandparents and I did the same for my grandmother. We had this cast iron cauldron over a fire in the wood lot and my grandmother would boil the water and kept poking the hens down with an old worn out mop. Like you, I had to pluck away when ready.

Just had what LAJ might call a “bag of nopes” moment watching a video on how to replace the drum bearings on our clothes washer. Gonna be expensive.
