My 1981 Nishiki I'm currently fixing it up to be my commuter...(9 speed tiagra, 700c conversion...modern spacing...probably some fenders..)

'86 Super Sport. Pics are from the eBay auction where I snagged it for $200 this spring to replace another old steelie (that was just a hair too small for me). I need to get a digital camera!

do you ever ride that thing man? there is no way i could keep the white tape and hoods that clean....i tried white on my pegoretti for a while...lasted about 3 weeks before i couldn't stand it anymore

Not nearly as much as I would like to....

Spray Nine for the tape and Mr Clean Magic Eraser works excellent in cleaning the hoods.

This is how the hoods looked when I first got them. They were sitting around in an open parts barrel in a warehouse for many years.
