A road bike would have shifter bosses on the downtube, not stops. I have a lugged 730 that same color, same downtube logo. Mine's also a slight mystery; according to the vintage-trek catalogs, the 730 was never shipped in that color for the years it had a lugged frame.

Isn't the fork a giveaway that this is a converted road bike? The multitracks all had unicrown forks, yes?

This is a real mystery to me. They are calling it a Trek 11, which I'm pretty certain never existed, but I can't figure out exactly what it was either. Grip shifters + cable stops on the down tube. Double crank with a rack. Looks like a Multitrack.

Earlier ones, plenty.
Most of the cool parts are here but no triple with the Rally so either the triple was taken or the Rally added, Schwinn Approved Suntour bar cons point to originally being a P-15 but the Campy brake calipers were not offered on them so they may have been swapped in as they are at their limit and if the hoods are right it has Weinmann levers.
Paint to match Silca may point to a repaint and I see rust worms so....
Unicanitor is cool too.
$800 would be optimistic even for me, different story if the paint was better or with no worms.

Here is a rare one. An early set of Mavic Cosmic wheels made for 126mm drop outs. I never knew these existed
The freehub looks to be 8-10 speed width :
