TREK 560EX Pro Series, Vintage 1987 Road Bike (handmade in USA, Waterloo, WI) $119 Griffith, IN
This is a 1987 Trek Pro Series 560 with Reynolds 531 Tubing, and it is beyond beautiful. Frame size 24" (59.6 cm). This was Trek's high end racing bike. Made in U.S.A., Waterloo, Wisconsin. All original components. The component group includes Shimano S.I.S. rear derailleur and shift levers. Shimano 600EX crankset with Bio-Pace 42/52 chainrings. And Shimano 600 aerodynamic-profile brakeset. Weight 23.2 lbs. Includes original water bottle. While there are a few scratches, this bicycle is still in excellent condition.

well, you have certainly found an interesting piece here
quite the odd quacker indeed
have seen a fair number of La Perle including a sprinkling in person and have never before seen one whose frame be constructed of Italian bits
the lug ensemble is Agrati "BRIANZA" ART. 000.8030/U (includes fork crown & bottom bracket shell)
the dropouts appear to be Agrati N. 000.8002
note that seat stay treatment is the Italian "bullet" style
it is difficult to tell for sure from the photos but it appears the brake bridge may be Italian style as well with the brazed-on seating pad washer on its rearward face
this is something seldom seen on a French frame at this era
the machine's chrome plated seat binder collar is done in the Italian manner
all of these details make one wonder if the frameset was not contract supplied from gaul's southeastern neighbour
this is exactly the sort of question which gets discussed in depth on the CR list

the Weinmann 801 arrestor ensemble is something seen only infrequently:

the cycle's Club model 29A saddle is a product of the Gallet firm. this manufacturer also produces saddles with the ADGA and Gallet names. readers who had an A08 or U08 from the boom era pass through their hands will recall it was factory equipped with a perch identified as an ADGA 28A.

there are jillions and jillions of Italian cycles constructed with this lug pattern
it enjoyed a long production life and was quite popular
keep an eye out for one which includes the actual BRIANZA pattern shell, it alone expresses eight cutouts
a BRIANZA pattern bulge-formed head was also produced

Hello, what I have for sale is a vintage track pro series 12 speed 22 inch frame for what it’s worth. It has Schwalbe vintage 700×23C tires aluminum wheels with quick release axles a water bottle holder down style bars. This is a great project bike, I am putting a price of $50.00on it today it does ride, but it might need to be cleaned.
