1988(?) Klein Mountain Klein
I picked up tis one yesterday. It seems mostly original... I think.
It does have a disparate mix of parts but they are mostly from that era. I think it's 1988 based on canti front and U-brake rear, but would love to get input on that.
Interesting bits:
square chainstays
Suntour roller cam u-brake
Aluminum frame w chrome steel forks
internal cable routing
Hi-E front hub
DuraAce rear hub
matching Araya RM-20 rims
I'm going to service the hubs and BB. Tune, and clean the bike. Also change the pedals to something period-correct and add a seat.
Any thoughts on value?

That's pretty cool with the bottom mounted roller cam. Also it's a large frame, which is desirable. In my local overheated market that's a 500.00 bike, even in that condition.

Roughly where are you located? Cuz down here in SoCal I wouldn't call the market hot; in fact I'd say it's downright chilly!
