Miyata tourer, possibly '84 610?
Saw this one for sale nearby, I imagine I could get it for ~$30. The nearest match I can find is the 1984 Miyata 610, but there's no name on the top tube as one would expect. It's not my size, unfortunately, but I've been looking for a project bike, and might go for it if it has flipping value. Thoughts on what I could get for it fixed up? I'd probably be selling in the Boston area.

I'd cast my vote for a 1983 or 1984 Miyata 610.

$250+ in nice shape to maybe $425+ in excellent shape with new tires, tubes, rim liners, brake pads, bar tape, front and rear racks, saddle, clean bearings with fresh grease, properly tuned, etc. Stuff like this you just buy if it's your size. Miyata is A+ top-notch! The Miyata 1000 is a legend, and the 610 is great. It's a touring bike! $30 is peanuts for that bike!!! I don't think you'll get rich on this one, but this is a nice hobby for some. If it's on CL it should have been gone an hour after posting. I myself would have already have bought it and would have it in pieces to be cleaned and re-assembled. I'd probably be riding it this upcoming weekend.

+1, I sold a pristine one a few months ago at the high dollar figure.

I would agree a 610 83/84 based on the color crankset and gold tone freewheel which were only offered on Japanese bikes OEM 83-85. As for value as presented rough with some possible issues $275-300. This bike is a steal for $30 it will likely be gone by the time you read this so if your interested act fast and ask
later on a bike like this or similar under $100.
