The email notifications say I have a long length 26.4mm campy seat stem... for a new to me brand of bicycle (you know).
And a dark brown used Brooks competition saddle from an auction site that i just couldn't leave alone.
its Christmas when that happens...

Ultegra R8000 shifters and Zipp 0 setback seatpost.
I'm not happy with the seatpost as it was listed as "black w/ black logo". I'm pretty sure thats not black. Hopefully sram can correct it after contacting them..

Replacement stuff for an additional $17.
I had previously ordered a different size in each and thought the jersey too small and shorts too big. So, now I have backups in either future case, whether I get cancer or balloon up.

My Campagnolo gum rubber non-aero Super Record brake lever hoods were delivered to me today by my niece who ordered them from Serbia on August 13 this year. She said they arrived last week but she wasn't home.
Cheers.

I got some stuff from France! The left Dura Ace crank in the photo is mine, and was on my grandma's bike when she crashed and was paralyzed from the neck down, back in the '90s. I think the right crank was destroyed in the crash. I finally found a mate for it, in 165 length, in France.
It is coming up on the 20 year anniversary of her death, so it feels fitting to put them on the Vitus and take it for a ride.
I ordered it in the middle of August, only to realize (doh) that the whole country is shut down for the August vacations. I majored in French in undergrad, but in my defense it was 19th century literature, and they didn't yet have the vacations in the 19th century. I was sweating bullets, ready to fire off some stern emails in my best French. The package hadn't changed from "awaiting shipment" until it arrived at United States customs, a full 20 days after it was sent!
The bar tape was super cheap (about $4 a roll), and feels like foamy "cork" stuff, even though it doesn't look extremely nice. It'll do, for that price, and pads the other stuff in shipping!
Also got some stupid lightweight CNC'd parts, a Cyclo shifter, and a NOS Stronglight headset.
And a TA left crank for my orphan right (still need one more, in 165), and an "Aludur" chainguard just because it looks neat and was cheap, and a rubbery dynamo roller capuchon and bunch of Fibrax and Rustines brake pads so hopefully something fits the Herse holders for my old Herse tandem.

The Europeans were always so much better at chainguards than we Americans. Might have something to do with targeting adult transportation needs with much of their production, not considering bikes as toys to be discarded when a kid was old enough to drive.
