85 Team Miyata 58 cm. $700

Price change: $600

85 team Miyata with 11 speed Shimano 105 5800 group
mavic open pro 32h rims on ultregra 6800 hubs with almost new 28mm gravel kings
nitto dynamic stem and noodle bar
Sella fLyte titanium saddle
several pedal options all in good shape
this is triple butted, but not splined just as bit of interest, the 84 was double butted
Would prefer to sell in San jose localish area and have price flexibility for local sale. will be going to socal early june

Dang - wish that was my size. Is this the 2nd Team Miyata in your stables?

Aargh, this is killing me! That's the exact frame I'm looking for in a 63cm. Beautiful example you're selling.

Good luck with that search - I spent 3 years looking for a 1980s 63cm Team Miyata. Super rare. Finally had a bead on an '81 but it feel through last minute, grrrrr.. I settled on an '86 63cm Pro Miyata .. which I'm actually thinking of selling.

(sorry for thread hijack).

Nice! my Miyata preference is always for their frames pre-splined tubing (as I recall that started in '86) which I found made the ride overly harsh (and a heavy frame).

84 team is double butted, this one 85 team is triple butted but not splined, so 86 sound right for splined, my 89 1400 was triple butted splined

Ping, getting close to craigslist, but would really prefer it to go to a C&V person

Also California people, my son is relocating from Arcata to San Diego, so I can bring this south in June and can make an excuse to bring it north in May

Wow - surprised no interest. Great bike and at the sweet spot size wise.

I'm worried it's too tall for me. Did you say the top tube was only 56.5 ?

What's the stand over?

Seriously. If that bike can't sell in Anywhere, CA at $600, I'm in trouble with my next flip.

Giving it a week, seeing if I can get my son interested or next is part it out, which would probably end up in more bucks (unless I stash too much)

It's one size too big for me otherwise I'd snap up the frame.
