Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

After another bout with the flu, got on the saddle first time in 10 days. Felt pretty good, and no surprise HR was high and butt was soft.

Did the Zwift Le Etape prologue. Seemed OK until my heart rate jumped from 138 to 193. Slowly dropped to the 140's to 150's. Rode slowly and wasn't the flamb rouge. Didn't feel any different. It's happened before, so I wrote my cardiologist to see what's up.

This is what a Triumph sedan looked like in 1955.

(Actually a "Standard", but they were apparently sold in the US under the Triumph brand)
