I bought one for my son when he was in high school (post #488), but my wife wouldn't let him try to ride it, because he was auditioning for college marching band. So, it has been hanging on a peg in the barn ever since. I don't heal as fast as I used to, so I don't think I am going to try it out.
I don’t remember that if felt particularly dangerous, beyond occasionally bashing your shins on the pedals on dismount (and that may be conflated with some other foolish biking thing).
