CCRT season opener ride, pretty sure it's #12

With the coming of mud season and the first robins, it's time to post the CCRT spring ride!
Patriot's Day weekend, either 4/13 or 4/14, depending on what works for the most people.
Dennis trailhead of the Cape Cod Rail Trail , the old exit 9A off Rt 6. 10 AM.
C&V themed, but all are welcome.
Hope to see some new faces along with the usual suspects.

Hello Top! And everyone else. I've been absent from BF for a while. We haven't been able to do much riding lately so this ride might be a challenge if we do it too fast.

However we do plan to be there with the tandem . I believe Sharon told me either Saturday or Sunday works.

My spouse and I went with yooze once. We had a lot of rain, but despite that, we had a lot of fun. It's highly unlikely I can make it this year, but I'll be thinking of you.

Unfortunately, Rhonda and I will miss the spring CCRT ride this year. We are heading down to Texas to visit family and get some early season miles in. You guys have fun! We hope to see you in the fall if not sooner. We need more than two C&V gatherings in New England per cycling season!

Hmm, might work for me this go round. I'd ride from Boston the previous day, stay overnight in Dennis, join the crew for some CCRT and then ride to P-town to catch the 3 pm ferry back to Boston. So will it be on 4/13 or 4/14?

I'm planning to be there!

Edit: Eh, spoke too soon. The P-Town ferry doesn't start running until May 16! I'll just have to try again in the fall.

I'm passing on the spring ride. Wife had another totally out of the blue ailment (with another total recovery expected) befall her. Fingers crossed for next fall.

Top,
I have to cancel for tomorrows’s ride. Something came up that I can’t avoid…
The weather forecast looks great - hope you all have a safe ride 😎 I had been looking forward to it.

Great to see you had a good ride. Sorry we couldn't make it or bring cookies. My real worry was that you and anyone else would wait around instead of having seen the posting that we couldn't make it. These days there is just too much getting in the way of doing anything. In the meantime we are working to get back into bike shape and hope to make the autumn ride.

Just as well. Gany and I beat the rain and were back in the car by 2:30. The usual suspects would have still been chatting at Nickerson when the heavens opened.
