Bikes Shops in Cartagena Colombia
I'm going to be in Cartagena next month. Anyone know of a good bike shop worth tracking down? I would just be browsing and maybe shopping for a unique jersey or something. Thanks.

Oh boy, I get into a lot of trouble when I'm there. There are a bunch of bike shops (or so I hear, I get a lot of riding in, but no cycling...), and Colombians are road racing crazed, so you should be GTG as far as that goes. Don't buy emeralds or Cuban cigars on the street.

I guess I'm hoping for someone to say something like, 'don't miss Nairo's Bike Shop!! Been around for 50 years and it's full of vintage racing bikes, memorabilia, great deals on new stuff and more!' Wishful thinking I'm sure, but .....

I think they’re down outside Medellin, but Scarab Cycles are Colombia’s finest custom builder, and it would be dope to visit there if you can, and of course to have one of their bikes, if you’re so inclined. My buddy here has one, and it’s a beautiful bike!
