Back in the saddle
After a terrible accident and 7 surgeries back in 2016, I sold all my bikes equipment and tools except for the bike I wrecked (a fixie). I kept the unsalvagable fixie to remind me of the danger of complacency on a bike. I went a few years with no real desire to ride again. I had wrecked before (coming from a mountain bike racing backround) but never like that. I was an avid road and mountain cyclist for years and rode all year long. A few years ago my wife and I decided it was time to ride again and duuing covid no bikes were to be found so I settled on a single speed SE Draft. It worked well form me. Now I am going to go at it again. I just purchased another bike (GT Carbon Elite) and am waiting for the phone call to pick it up. Looking forward to riding again and info to be gleaned from this forum. Gravel roads are my neighborhood over here in Southwest Ohio. Anyway, no-one wants to read my whole biography of my 56 yeas here on earth. Thanks for reading and have a great and safe ride.
