Does Pcad have any clue?
OKAY, so I am just throwing this out there, but I think Pcad has his words mixed up. I believe what he is meaning to say is SWAG, not Schwag. As long as I have heard the word schwag, it has been in reference to run of the mill, nothing special about it to crappy weed. SWAG on the other hand is (as stated by Michael Scott) Stuff We All Get. NOW, this brings me to a new topic.
Carbon Zipp wheels like his would not be considered SWAG! I they were, ALL of us would have them. Sure, they are popular and AWESOME looking, but I'm still riding on my multi brand wheels which dont even match and I have been riding for a good 7+years on this bike.
All in all, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the unthinkable just happened...Pcad is wrong about something, in fact, 2 somethings!!
AAAANNNND go!

Raising the Abyss
1. It's pcad, not "Pcad".
2. It's guads, not quads.
3. It IS Schwag.

Considering that at least half of BF threads are started by or about Pcad, and probably close to that figure in posts, I think that he's earned some right to contribute to the site's vernacular.

Pcad's vocabulary is, as he'd say, eff'd but due to his already noted proclivity the "wrong" definitions have become the newly accepted "right' definitions.

If all your doing is making threads to the effect of "HAHA I CAUGHTED HIM HE WAS RONG!111111111" then you seriously need to throw your computer out of the ****ing window and go for a 100 mile TT. During your lunch break.

And if it matters I make all of you, and pcad, look like newbies.

pcad is like that old uncle that is we all love, but is not all there. He does ride his bike more than 99% of the jokers on this forum and he does race his bikes. At the same time he does have a diminutive teammate that is much more successful racing-wise that is at his wit's end about how inefficient pcad is with his training hours vis-a-vis his racing accomplishments. "The little one" doesn't fully appreciate the other therapeutic value that the simple act of riding a bike has for pcad, i.e. riding a bicycle is not solely about winning races but it is also about saving his life.
I will bust pcad's balls on this forum, but it is all in good fun. I just figure that his use of "swag" (or any other spelling) was akin to the use of the word "bad" in the not so distant past to mean the very opposite of the "accepted" definition. Then again, he might have been totally clueless.

of course you are 100% correct, but that isn't the important thing.

Please note that I did not start this thread about me.
Further: please note that since Pcad is synonymous with Cycling, the Mods deem this thread Road Cycling related enough to leave in the 41.
