Any flat pedals with a durable bearing?

Looking at many reviews I am scared off flat pedals because of the clicking they develop in short time. I am looking for a thin flat pedal that has a flat front to mount a half toe clip for city riding.
The Look Trail Roc would fulfill this if the bearings are not weak.

Never had a problem with pedal bearings or bushings. Maybe i've just been lucky, or could be because I check the grease and add some if necessary. Also I'm thin if that makes any difference. Haven't used them, but Race Face Chesters have been mentioned a good many tiimes on this site as a good pedal.
Edit--failed to pay attn to mounting a half toe clip. Belt AND suspenders?

Crankbrothers 7 (as well as model above it). Why do you need a toe cage with the pins? unless you're wearing leather soled dress shoes...

I am a big fan of the MKS Lambda. Looks like the MKS Gamma is similar. I add 3mm screws for better grip on the mountain bikes, but don't think they are needed on the road touring bikes.

I too am a fan of the race face chesters. I have them on two bikes and haven't ever had bearings go bad. Though... I've only been riding them for about 3 years.

They don't meet the need for a flat front, but I pulled clips and straps off all my pedals 5 years ago and haven't looked back.

Loose ball pedals, you can take apart and clean and replace the grease and adjust the tension - just like hubs.

Cartridge bearing ones you just swap. Those Race Face pedals for instance have a rebuild kit as well as replacement spindles for maintenance. I had one of those RF pedals not work well and went from being a fan to meh but they sure do fit the bill. The Amazon "Fooker" pedals or similar have axles that are nearly the same and might be interchangeable.

Also look for seals. MTB pedals often have rubber seals where a roadie wouldn't accept the drag

I noticed today my composite race face chesters pedals on my mtb sound horrible and have a lot of slop in them. They're kind of chewed/beat up also.

while a rebuild kit sounds nice it if was $5 but it's $27
https://www.amazon.com/Race-Face-Che...a-752098100347

new pedals are $40
https://www.amazon.com/RaceFace-Ches...04&sr=8-3&th=1

So, I don't know if I would put much stock in pedals that have rebuilt kits unless you can get the rebuilt kits for like 10% or less than the value of new.
