Pulled from a vintage Bianchi. No wonder the crankset didn't turn. Amazingly the stem and seat post were not stuck.

Looks like the bottom bracket off my Marketplace schwinn that I bought dirt cheap. It had been stored outside.

No surprise.
Bottom brackets are the U-traps of bikes. Water splashes up from the rear wheel, enters at the searpost, then runs down and collects there.

Yikes! Just what I needed to see as I wait for TA bottom bracket tools to arrive so I can service my 1975 Motobecane after a 45 year interval! (at least it has always been stored indoors)

Working at a volunteer shop I have seen some nasty bottom brackets over the years but that takes the prize, Hopefully you were able to get the fixed cup out as well.
I don't think I would even clean it up and reuse it, just replace it from on of our "recovered spares" stock. I would clean it enough to see the numbers but that would be it.
Clean all the threads well on the shell before reassembly and grease them.
