Anyone try Funn Mamba pedals?
Thinking of giving these a try, looks like the best of both worlds, let me know what you think.

yes I have & I like them, I like having a big platform on the other side
switched to cleated pedals & shoes last summer. I'm new to cleated pedals & shoes so it took a few rides to adjust the cleats & I also added shims. after 7 rides with some older pedals I switched to the FUNN Mambas. been riding off road on a new to me dirt bike so I'm looking forward to the cleated shoes/pedals & my road bike. haven't been on them since September I think
have you used cleated shoes & pedals before? personally I would not use cleated shoes/pedals off road. but that's me
these are mine

Great pics as said above! I decided to give them a try and took them out for the first time today and I was really happy with them. I ride mountain bike pedals on my road bike, so its nice to use the same shoes and cleats for both bikes. I rode it again tonight with just my tennis shoes and the platform side worked great as well. I would recommend these to anyone!

Funn Mamba (original, big, one side clip)
When I installed them on my AM/EN, they were replacing the typical SHIMANO M520 SPD from the world of XC.
Although I indeed notice a bit more slowness in unclipping due to the size of the platform when you turn your ankle, the grip is excellent.
I'm considering unscrewing the clip to convert the hybrid pedal into a 100% platform if the conditions for medium-term outings don't require being clipped in.
I don't know if there's anyone here who has already tried this. The holes for screwing in the clip seem to have the same diameter as the grip screws, so it would add four new central fastenings on that side of the pedal.
