YEAH Braylon gets to take his act to New York city where he can blend in with the rest of the thugs.

Yeah, I saw that... I am torn.
On one hand, Edwards seems to be a diva and possible locker room problem. His recent performance has been...well.... drop-tastic. His comment about never being embraced because he is from Michigan was unfortunate. I think most Browns fans would cheer for Satan as long as he was scoring touchdowns in orange and brown.
On the other hand, I remember his pro-bowl year. I remember the way he stretched the field and seemed to catch anything within 5 feet of his body. I was holding onto that hope.
I don't know if he gave up on the Browns. I don't really think so because I think he wants recognition as a talented player. I hope this WR and draft picks pan out, but I am not thrilled with what we got.

Why does it seem that the receivers go wacko. We had one here in Cincy with Carl Pickens and last year with a newly reformed Ochicinco. I do think Chad is on the mend and is serious about football again. Look at some others: Terrell Owens, Plaxico Buress

he'll take his act & the fact that he's the only player anderson (or is it quinn this week?) can throw the ball to. i see this as foreshadowing another sports star's departure to NYC from the mistake by the lake...

Plenty of guys out there that can catch the ball and not make a fool of themselves. How many drops did he have last year? I live in the Seattle area (our team has its own problems) Seems everytime I see the Browns play he drops the ball in crucial situations which for Cleveland lately is all game long. My point is maybe with the draft picks there is a Steve Largent or Gary Collins waiting to be taken.

He did not have one reception in the last game vs. the Bengals, he dropped two passes. He has 10 receptions in 4 games for some pretty weak yardage.
This might give the Browns rookies some extra playing time, Mohamed Massaquoi and Brian Robiskie.

Tell me about it. He's been benched on my fantasy team since week two. Actually, this trade gives him another two weeks of bench time for me. If he's not putting up numbers by then, I'm booting him.

Maybe he will take the rest of the team with him and they could hire a local jr hischool team to play in Clevelalnd. At least the kids may actually try to win a game.

Good riddance - the dude was nothing but an over-rated, over-paid, over-coddled prima donna.
T.O. freakin junior.
If Mangina had any brains he wouldn't of let Joey J go.

Yeah, I liked him a lot. He played big and seemed to be a decent person.
