And here's part of a 1987 Ross Centaur that I'm working on bringing back to it's original pink and white paint job. Someone spray painted over the pink with black and did a terrible job.

Picked this 1962, Chain Bike Corporation (Ross predecessor) Starjet as a rust bucket a little over 2 years ago.
Now, almost ready to get a new home with my wife's piano teacher.

1963 Desiree
All imported parts and frame, branded as Desiree and built/sold by Robert Alexander, Santa Barbara CA. Note the 60-50-26 chainrings(most came with 54-50-26) and the custom rear cage(standard on all Desiree bikes) to wrap the huge amount of chain when in the granny gear. I doubt if more than 300 were built/sold during 1959-1965. If anyone has or knows of another please contact me.
thanks, Brian
PS frigging photobucket(photosucket) strikes again, I'll post pics asap from another source

The only frame I ever (partly) built. Paint by Bernie Mikkelsen a long long time ago.
The only other Red bike I ever owned... and it's only partly red.
Well, ok. I think of this one as black but it does have some red.

A pair of these passed through my hands years ago when I knew next to nothing. Didn't know how to dial in the fit and moved them both on. Now days I really wish I had kept one just for how cool they look.

Boring (to look at) red 1990 C-dale ST600. It's a workhorse that gets ridden, though. I think of this as my most 'competent' bike. If I ever get around to giving it a full makeover, it'll likely end up on whatever month has green bikes representing.

Penny, resplendent in her absolutely stunning fire red paint with properly complementary white tape and saddle:
I had a 1983 Trek 970 briefly. Beautiful frame and flawless ride:
This '87 Super Sport was lovely, but possessed a truly (and unfortunately) harsh ride:
My 66cm 1989 Cannondale SR800 was a touch too big for me with this setup (a setup that would go to my Masi), but she was stunning to behold:
