vintage resembles 1947 mercury roadster bicycle - $80 (Mirimar)

I have for sale this vintage bicycle most closely resembling an old mercury roadster but I can't say for certain. Has some old features like a couple of grease ports. Coaster brakes are out and the back tire has a pin prick hole from some spikey seed. Seat is a little deteriorated. The front spoke could use to be tightened down a little more. Pedals are not matching, but appear ancient. Added on a removable kickstand. Saddlebags not included. Definitely ridable with a little TLC.

Does anyone know what this is?

Without question.
Under appreciated? Your kidding right? I have never heard that about Litespeed. The biggest problem with Lightspeed was that the ABG bought out the company from Lynskey and won't honor either the pre or post Lynskey era warranties, it's just a bunch of meaningless words to look impressive.

I've always liked this Nishiki model. I guess I yearn for prestige. One bad photo and no indication that the wheels are included, but if it were my size and I lived in Phoenix I'd be all over it at that price.

I always thought the RB-2 had a lower tubing set but you are right, the catalog seems to indicate that the frames are the same. Can any Bridgestone expert confirm this?

Talk about bikes that are under appreciated! Nishiki and Centurion both were and still are highly unappreciated.

Ti in the used market means very little return on $$$ in many markets.

They sit like rocks on our local CL.

The one we bought sat for almost 60 days with various price reductions.

After owning three, including a Merckx AX built by Litespeed, I should have said "underwhelmed" instead.

Simply not my cup of tea.

Man, Phoenix is where all the nice bikes are it seems!

Chicago they sell you rusted garbage for $100 more than those prices in the south west. I need to move to properly support my habit.

Nice! I'm guessing this is a 1960's PX10? I don't know much about Peugeots, but full 531, nice forged crown, and seemingly intact drive train makes it look like a deal to me.

Acorn Boxy Rando Front rack Bag - $100 (Downtown Raleigh)[/h]

This is a custom made front rack rando bag by Acorn: a small company in California comprised of a husband and wife. I'm parting ways with it to help fund a new bike build. The cotton canvas holds up great it wet conditions and it's a perfect bag to mount to a Nitto front rack. I've posted the Nitto M18 on Craigslist a few minutes earlier.

This bag retails for over $200 and can take months to obtain because there are waiting lists and demand is extremely high.

Email me if you have any questions!
