Mr iab has it.
The logo is identical to my Olmo stem... although I didn't remember it being that illegible.

that is pretty nice!!
The branded headset is a great detail, but the cranks and hubs also caught my attention.
At the risk of further thread drift, can you provide some details on those?? (and I'm 99% confident that you can)

Crank is either Magistroni or FB, probably branded Olmo. The hubs are FB, again, probably branded Olmo. Examples below are not Olmo.

iab Do you know when QR axles became de facto on better quality bikes from Italy? My ~1960 Legnano has bolt on wheels, hubs similar to the FB units above. Of course, wheels possibly not original but wondering when QR became largely universal.

For top of the line bikes, it was a mixed bag from 1945-1951. With the intro of the Gran Sport in 1951, Campagnolo started dominating the market. By 1953 when things were humming, pretty much all top-end bikes were equipped Campagnolo and QRs. Next time I cruise the 50s catalogs I'll take note how many tiers down did they start introducing QRs.

For example, my 1958-1960 Cinelli Model B has solid axles. All SCs from that era would have QRs.

That would have been my guess so thank you for the insight.

One of my favorite photos. Raffaele Di Paco, 1935 Giro. 2-lever cambio corsa on the back (1 lever is the quick release), solid axle in the front. He didn't buy into the whole system,
