21.1 Bullmoose stem 22.2 Steerer tube?

I recently came across a set of bullmoose handlebars but they are 21.1 and my old school DB has 22.2 currently. Can I make these work 21.1 work?
TIA

I can't imagine anyway this could be done safely.

For just cruising around, you might try putting a width-wise beercan shim around the quill, including wedge. Might have to play around with how much can wrap you need to make up the difference.

Or you can send me the moose for my SportTourer. I had one on it as a tracklocross setup that I miss.

Thanks, I actually have a can that I have ready as I've read the same. I'll just have to keep this build as a cruiser.

A beer can would be far too thin. You need something almost 0.5mm thick. Fortunately, these are also the two common BMX seat post sizes and there is a shim specifically made for this size conversion. You have to saw off the lip but otherwise it should be ideal. Any BMX LBS should be able to set you up with one but here's a example:
https://www.planetbmx.com/shop/13/16...post-shim.html
Note that 13/16" is actually 0.833" which is 21.15mm. They just rounded it to the nearest imperial fractional equivalent.

T-Mar, as always, thanks!!! I'll look into it for sure. Would it only go over the stem or the wedge as well?

Easy, you need a part made by Wald(the basket people) . It's the #905 shim. Description:
  • Fits seat post or stem
  • Use to convert a 13/16" seat post to work on a frame that needs 7/8" (22.2mm) seat post
  • Use to convert 21.1mm quill stem to be used in a 1" threaded fork that takes a 22.2mm stem

get the shim and use a quill wedge designed for 22.2m stem. just don't shim the wedge itself and it will work fine.
