Phillips bike
Hi all,
i am pretty new in this world and as such i did a major mistake: destroyed my rear hub!!
now i am looking online for a new one, but cannot find it because i don't think i have the complete set of information to look for.
Is there a list/website with all the pictures of the possible Phillips hub available? i know for sure mine is a single speed, but don't know much more. on the rest of the bike didn't find any marking... suggestion??

The tires should have the wheel size written on them.

Thanks albrt for the quick reply. it's not problem to rebuilt the complete tyre, i can find someone that can help me out on that.
the point right now is to understand the correct hub to buy.
I have read that there are different single speed hubs: Celtonia, Credalux, ... how can someone identify the correct one for his bike? where, beside the hub, some writing can be found? and furthermore where can I find association between year of production/components used and picture to identify the correct parts?

There is still a lot of information missing. The main variables to build a new wheel are the dropout width, and the number of spokes. Does the hub have a freewheel, or is it a coaster brake?
It seems like a new wheel still might be the best option.
In what way is the hub ruined?

I’m thinking a new 40 hole single speed hub might be hard to find, and wonder what condition the rims are in, since it sounds like you have the original 50+ year old wheel.
