Does Perfomance Bike offer an instant 10% discount, ot just a "rebate"?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking for a new road bike in the $900 range, and none of the other LBS's seem to have anything for under $1200.
So PB is looking like a viable option. Originally wanted to keep it around $800, but PB has a model with carbon forks ( and tube IIRC) and 105 group for $999. With an instant 10% off, this might be a viable choice. But I can't tell if members get an instant10% off, or if it's always just a 10-20% rebate or credit you can use on in store merch.
A local store did have a Trek 1.something for $999 (with 105's), but no discount and expensive shoes, pedals and helmets.

It depends on the coupon whether it is a discount or points. Sometimes you get double point too, but I've never bought bike there, usually just clothes.

If you ring up a $999 bike on the first transaction, you will immediately have 99.90 in credit to buy any accessories you need though.

If it's 10% off and you pay $900, then you would have $90 in points to spend.

I think the credit isn't available until the next day.

Most locations do a lunchtime sale on Tuesdays(10% off) but Team Performance is 10% "credit" for purchases the next day.

You earn points worth 10%. You also have to pay $30 for the annual membership if you aren't already a member.

Pretty sure the lunchtime sale doesn't include bikes

Do you require 105? Have you considered new Tiagra?

If not he should. I haven't ridden new Tiagra but by all accounts it's 10 speed version of 105. That new Roubaix looks awesome. they even have full internal cable routing now.
