Still a WIP (steerer, cable clips, pedals, bars/levers, cog/lockring...), but today I finally built up the steamroller frame that's been hanging in my garage for almost a year now. Light wheels on a single speed are an amazing thing.
Very comfortable geometry, better get on trimming that steerer.
Crappy phone pics ahoy!

Considering this frame. Will have to figure out option for new forks as these aren't my favorite.

Recently converted to 650B, running 42mm tires with still enough clearance for fenders. Crappy phone pic.
Carradice saddle bag, Revelate frame bag, vintage GB drop bars, DA crankset.

Finally got my steamroller how I want it. I actually bought some parts specifically for this one. First time in a LONG time using silver parts by choice.
Polished the stem (cheapo origin-8) on the polishing wheel at work. While I was on the clock. Gotta learn somehow.
I love this PRO tape you can get at cambria for $10. Nice texture and a great price. I try not to ride with gloves when the weather allows.

Quick question for you Steamroller riders. The Surly website says the fork and headset are 1 1/8 threadless. Their 'instructions' listed on that page says 1" threaded. Well what is it? I'm looking to pick up a 2009 tomorrow and don't want to pick up a 1" threaded! Are they and have they always been 1 1/8?

I sold my super pista and just swapped all the components to this. Much more comfortable bike, for the road anyway. Hate that aluminum machine ring though...

I gotta say, I think that weird sinus-infection-snot-green color is my favorite.

To those of you who swapped out the stock WTB saddle:
Hook a brother up.
I just got a new Crosscheck and miss the WTB that came on my Creamroller. If you have one laying around hit me up.
