I like Cervelo bikes sans the S5. I think they're just plain ugly.
It probably trumps any bikes on a wind tunnel test but geez, it's like dating a girl with a great personality but she's butt ugly.

This is my S5. IMO the sexist bike I have ever owned, and probably will ever own. Strictly from a sex appeal POV, the VWD might be lighter, but I like the black/grey of mine to the dark grey/grey of the VWD S5.

To improve its looks, cut the steerer tube. It currently looks a bit like a camel's hump.

So went to my LBS to look at the 14 R5 I just bought, it came in yesterday and they put it together, going for fitting tomorrow and then out for a nice long ride.
Bike is spectacular and very very light. I like the color of the 14s and the fact they've run internal cables is a plus and also made it so you can run 25s on it.
Sweet bike!

Sorry for the crappy picture, will take a better pic when the sun comes out., but this bike is still sex on wheels!
Took it out for a 30 mile ride last nite, very fast and light! The fizik seat absolutely sucks tho, I think I'm going to put the specialized seat like the one I have on my roubaix.
This is a 14 R5 with manual dura ace. I put dura ace clipless pedals on and also changed from 23 to 25 tires.

Maybe he's got short-ish legs? I figure if the bike is too small...the saddle would be pushed forward and the stem would be real short.

it's a 54cm, with a 110mm stem. I do have pretty short legs, more torso for sure. the RS just looks weird regardless haha.

I like the geometry of the S2 which works well for me. Even on the 61 it has a 130cm stem.
I can't complain at all because the frame/fork came as a warranty replacement for an S1 frame that broke at the rear dropout. Cervelo stood behind it and gave me an upgrade since they no longer make the S1. I would recommend them as a company based on this.

a week in, put a 100 miles on my R5 so far, except for the seat, absolutely love this bike. I have to approach riding a bit differently from roubaix with it's compact crank.
The dura ace is ever so nice, and I put dura ace clipless pedals on it.

I could not agree more. It is the sexiest bike out there. I'm buying one next year and putting a set of super sexy Zipp 404's on it.

Parts laid out. Frame still missing:
Starting to build:
Bars, shifters, and brakes:
Hey, it looks like a bike!
Maiden voyage in Pescadero. 50 miles, 6000 ft elevation:
Need to adjust shifters up, and maybe slam the stem.

Nicely done. I am not a big fan of the shifter cable routing, especially with the white cable.

I think the white looks good in that pic.

Just googled some other pics - it looks like a lot have the cables routed under the stem like this one:
