Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's exactly it. The old man geometry always makes it look a little "off".

Reynolds had decent decals, then their decals were awful, and now they're just kind of bad. I say no decals except for the valve decal.

Here is a photo of what your bike would look like with decals off. Photoshop always helps give a better idea instead of trying to guess which would look better.

I say no decals

Thanks for all the great comments about my Ritchey, ( Dtrain I fixed the rear brake cable, the front brake cable was sitting underneath it pushing it up). Been out on a couple of rides now, such a smooth, comfortable ride and handles like a dream

I agree with this! I bought my reynolds used and the valve decal had been removed. I'm too cheap to buy a new set of decals just for the valve decal but I think thats the hottest way to roll the reynolds...simple and understated, but everyone still knows what they are.

Thanks for the photoshop!! Yeah, I ran my Attacks with just the valve stem logo, and I really liked it like that. I actually do like the full on limited edition grey decals as seen on the pic. However, it looks and screams "I'm fast", which I am not at all. I think i may remove the Reynolds decals and just leave the valve stem logo and the powertap logo.

I wanted to dial in the fit of the shifters on the Tornova handlebar before wrapping it up. I was going to stick with the Fizik apple green tape I used before, but it doesn't look aesthetically right with the gumwalls. Either a set of black lizard skins 1.8 dsp or may even try the Handlebra variety.

Recommend do that! I'm very happy with the leather tape now on my bike...Adarga is the brand, but they don't make it in green. It comes with a backing, unlike the Handlebra product...
