I'll throw in my Kellogg era Ross Signature touring, now set up as a 1x11 flat bar town bike. Reynolds 531 goodness thru out..definitely not heavy!

Thanks..It was a bit overtightened.. I backed off on the bolt and used some carbon paste on the seat post to keep it from slipping. The frame calls for a 27.2 post, which that Nitto post is...The Nitto posts I've used all seem a bit undersized. Both a Thompson and a Ritchey post I have are a better fit. The picture was from this past Spring.. John

My Ross experience:
Sometime in the 80's a Ross shop opened a few blocks from my house, and I went over for their grand opening.
What I remember is being shocked that most of their road bikes had stamped plate rear brake and wheel stay brackets on unremarkable tubes.
This is while Schwinn was building Tenax bikes in Mississippi.
Walked away from a Gran Tour several years later when I realized it had those features.
Saw a Signature Series bike, and it was BEAUTIFUL! Great workmanship, and it even managed to look super light.
I've had a couple early Ross mountain bikes, and still have my '84 Mt. Whitney. The top of the line Whitney was made in Japan while all the others were from Pa.
THAT must have made the guys at the factory feel really special.

I know Ross from Seattle rode a ROSS at Cino. He has a quiver of bikes to choose from, so they can't be all bad.
On the other hand, wouldn't that Arabesque look great on a 3-Rensho frame (the one in my dreams, have't seen or bought yet)?

Components were often of higher quality than the frames they were hung on.
