Hey guys,
I want to thank all that came from BF! You'll recognize some of our members in the video! Everyone brought such cool vintage road bikes. Check out the vid and see whats highlighted.

Thanks
John

John,
Great video! Nice to see the vintage bikes and the owners. (However, I didn't see the spotlight on Ugly Betty) Maybe next show? Smiles, MH

Time to relax with a nice beverage.

Some day a need a better TV. The pic is OK and big enough but the sound is awful.

WOW That’s a great looking Bianchi!

That Rigi bike is really interesting. You pretty much ride over the rear wheel with such a short wheelbase. I wonder if it could result in unintended wheelies during a hard sprint effort.......

That was a fabulous looking bike and really regret not getting pics especially since it's almost a twin for my Esmarelda. Back in the day when I was riding a lot and rode my Rigi a few times a months it was fast and quick and no one rode too close to you on rough roads! My racing career failed early but in the Sunday morning "Bikes, Bagels and Coffee" crowd I was pretty fair 'Townline' sprinter but I don't recall the wheelie bit but I was usually out of the saddle. I want to say on the climb up the Blue Hills reservation observatory, probably the steepest hill we had, the front wheel might come off the ground if I was pushing hard from the back of the saddle. Sometimes I regret selling but but I hadn't ridden it in years and the one time I did it was just too uncomfortable for me.

Great video and apparently a great event! Kudos to John for hosting such an event!

I appreciate the look at the lovely bikes! I'm a bit partial to the British bikes, so the Jack Taylor and Claude Butler caught my attention. Jack Taylors have some extra touches, usually, like the box lining, and that's what makes them a bit more eye catching than some other brands. The story of the Taylor brothers and their history adds to the allure of their bikes too.

Of course, when it comes to eye catching, the Rigi is a strong competitor too! In fact, an article on the Rigi appeared in the Rivendell Reader #22, which I'll attach below.
