Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A revolver is no considered necessary int he more civilised areas of Europe.

Not what you think. It's a natural waxy substance derived from Sperm whales. It burned with a clean flame in lamps, and was also used as a lubricant — and no, not for that.

Good to know. Had to look up the uses of Fuller’s earth, pugarees, permanganate of potash, French chalk and cotton waste.

That's when I reach for my revolver, that's when it all gets blown away.
