Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Giant Revolt Advanced vs. Niner RLT RDO

Looking at my first gravel bike. Kinda have it narrowed down to these two.

Thoughts?

Very nice! I hope you got a steep discount for the mismatched tires.

Ha!!! I did get it at a pretty good price. Bikes are being heavily discounted these days.

Mismatched tires are my doing. It came with 700 x 45 Schwalbe G-One Bite which only measure out at 43. I had one 700 x 45 WTB riddler laying aorund that measures out at 700 x 47 so I put it on. The matching Riddler for the frront is coming this week. Plus I'm not a fan of tan sidewalls.

The G-One Bites will be going on the market soon.

I like !

I like both black and tan wall on that bike … maybe with a slight nod to tan wall … ?

I’d be tempted to go with 700 x 45 Conti Terra Speed tan walls …

I have some 700 x 400 terra speed right now and it's an awesome tire. While I do have another WTB riddler coming to match the front, I'm contemplating picking up a 700 x 45 terra trail for the front and 700 x 45 terra speed for the back.

That is a nice bike! I was up in PA this past December at a Scott Shop that my son and I have purchased from in the past. They have some serious markdowns on mountain bikes right now, and still cannot sell these. Yet, they only had one speedster think the 30. I was just amazed at how packed that store was with bikes, but no customers.....unlike a few years ago. They are going to be discounting bikes for a while.
