Classic Aluminum
Found another bike today,Vitus 979, will be doing some googling. Shimano 600, Cinelli bars and stem,very light. Components date to 1985

I keep finding 56cm bikes! Were there no short guys back in the day,i.m a 52cm. No cracks in the seatpost ears. It will get cleaned and serviced and passed on.

Nice Vitus
Building out a Vitus is like eating a Reeses peanut butter cup. There's no wrong way. These bikes ride like a dream and they sure are beautiful!
Mine's got a bunch of vintage American-made CNC machined weight weenie stuff on it. Plus Suntour mechs and Simplex levers.

A little aluminum polish and I use sealer to keep it shiny really makes these frames pop.
