Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So it's like a vertical spread option ETF?

Got me. I don't trade. I leave that to the guys that know what they are doing.

We rely on our two financial advisors for market investing.

I bought Shimano cable cutters in the early 90s and they're still cutting cables today. I don't cut anything but cables with them.

Basically what was already said. Your trade-off for limiting downside risk is a cap on the upside. I didn't know this came in ETF form.

I might've mentioned it a while ago, maybe you missed it.

I moved my sell limits up $2 a piece. 137/140/142

I bought some at $83, wish I'd taken out a loan to buy more back then.

One of my savings accounts is paying damn near 4% now, so I'm tempted just to dump all cash in there for now.

Those Lithium wildcatters I mentioned a few months ago have not struck it rich yet. Should be getting delisted any day now.

I'm going to move a savings account into laddered CDs paying about 4.5.

I wonder what's going on there? That's very much out of the norm for retail now, obviously.

A Snap On cutter like that is about $80 but still not made for cables.

Diagonal cutters will flatten a cable out and fray it before cutting. A really good, sharp tool might cut a cable acceptably but a cable cutter has jaws designed to cut without squashing the cable.

Nobody has that in stock. So I’ll have to settle for lowe’s or home depot. Home Depot seemed tk have better choices.

I know. Like I've said before, I'd rather have it (literally) banked than worry about not having the 401k filled up if I lose the job. Or, as happened to AG when she changed jobs last year, accidentally going over because the second employer screwed up the contribution rates. I'l sacrifice DCA to have it maxed without any concerns.

Well I've had full cans of beer thrown at us by Mount Union fans. But really I was more talking about obnoxious talk, yes Boston but also Cowboys, Seahawks, and Eagles fans (in general). The analysts will absolutely talk about which fanbases need the most muting on Twitter, and Buffalo isn't in the top 10.

Im sure every situation, job, what not is different, but I was told at the start of my career to not even look at it. Max it out when you can but otherwise don’t look at it. You will die early if you watch it.

Which one is the last one. You want a cutter that shears the cable, not compresses it.
