Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rode the Madone 2.0. I really enjoyed it. The shifting is off but not enough to really have affect on the ride. Race maybe.

Need to slide the seat maybe 2 mm forward, and I recently bought a 120 mm stem with 17 drop, Im thinking I might need to go 110 or maybe even 100.

The 44 cm bars really didn’t bother me all that much. would like to switch them out at some point in the future.

Only gripe, something felt loose at random times during the ride. I checked everything so I can’t figure it out.

Have you seen the newer beaver toothed BMWs? I’ve had several Bimmers over the years, but I may have to become an Audi guy (again).
In a word, heinous.

Have an A6 in the garage - one in a long line of Audis.

I liked that look on the GT3 cars, but not so much on street cars. Although if you get one in black it's not as bad.

Of course, a black car is only ever clean once.

Cool map of the day: https://map.blitzortung.org/#3.87/40.06/-95.23

This map shows lightning strikes in real time from Blitzortung.org. The colors represent the age from now (white) to past (dark red) in 20 minutes time ranges.

Agreed! People here twisted my arm by putting money in my hand. However, this is one of the coldest and longest winters since records have been kept, and when people complain about 40F temperatures it seems a little hard to swallow.

Sorry that came off like a jerk, wasn’t being serious.

On the other hand I don’t know how any of you guys live where you live. Extreme heat, extreme cost of living, too much snow, too much rain, cracked roads.

Velo, Dan333SP and I are the only ones that live in a perfect place.

It's hideous. At least from front on. side view (as long as you can't see the grill) would be ok.

In other news, still in laptop quarantine. Apparently an update just failed and then got into a locked state. Eventually level2 support called me (while I was in PT, of course) and fired off a request to uninstall FF. It failed, so I got back to still being locked down. Spent an hour on the phone with him just now getting it to even connect to him (he could see me but not connect) to manually remove it. The next step was going to be to go into a branch and plug in.

After I move I'll have to introduce myself at the Boulder branch. JFC.
