Puch Muscle Bike
I had one of these when I was a kid, my parents sold it when I was a late teenager without telling me. I've never seen another in the flesh, and struggled to find a picture of exactly this even online, so you can imagine my surprise when I found one on eBay just up the road from me! Accordingly, £75 is gone from my Paypal account, and I go to pick it up tonight. 5 speed derailleur on the stickshift, big ape hangers, banana seat - awesome. We'll see what the condition is like, I'm undecided whether to try to restore it, or repaint and do it up with a seat with a racing stripe. It will be a nostalgic experience, no matter what.

I've not seen cream 406 (20") tires, but Niagara Cycle has white ones.

Nothing wrong with that style of bike; I had a blast with my franken-version of one when I was a kid, but I'm not sure the appellation "Muscle Bike" is all that fitting. I say that because "Muscle Cars" are typically well above average in performance capability relative to the mainstream passenger car, whereas bikes of this type are more of a styling exercise, with severely compromised performance (excepting wheelies, catwalks, and other stunts).

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, they've always been "choppers", but I know in the US muscle-bike is the term. Rudy - I've been around, just not much
