My worry about carbon fibre is that it can start "cracking" on the inside.
While metal frames (steel, aluminium, titanium) show cracks on the outside, easily visible before they fail.
With carbon fibre, detecting crack propagation takes some scanning, while with metals you can just visually inspect the frame.
The video said the mode of failure for carbon fibre is "gentle" (or a similar term), which I understand as "not sudden/unexpected." I'm not really sure if that's always the case (forks, or stems for example). As far as I know, it can be quite sudden.
My (very) long-winded drivel on bicycle frame materials.

Funny you should mention that, because yesterday I pulled the bike from the corner to ride. And, yes, it was a pain. But worth it.
4 out of 10 bikes are blue. 4 out of 10 bikes are red. One is black. One is Titanium (not shown)

I believe they changed hands again but I could be wrong.
Sucked because a women's pro team had put in payments for new bikes for the year and through all of this the bikes sat in a container. Then when they bought the out and took over everything they left the ladies high and dry. The team folded.
I bought out the chains that one of the assembly houses in Taiwan was using to build them. Still have a small pile of them.
