The Road Bike Shop SW Virginia

My ride yesterday me along SW Virginia near Macadam in Portland. I passed an awing on a store front reading “ The Road Bike Shop.” It clearly was not operating as a bike shop but did have a Selle Italia sticker on the window, so it must have once been one.
Anyone know the history of this place?

EnSelle, Sella Italia, no wonder I got that mixed up. Thanks for that info.

Mystery solved with the owner’s name. Seems shop was in biz during a time I was not able to ride much.

Might want to add city to title so as to attract Portlandrians rather than us Virginians.

The geographic notes do appear shorthand

Wait... I live IN SW Virginia (not to be confused with "Southside". My brother lives in Portland. Does this mean there's some extra-dimensional shortcut that can be used?

Yes but now you have to get through the space time continuum to navigate back 9 years, probably going to have to find Yoda.

But if I can go back in time, I'd want to make a quick stop a few years farther back to un-trade that J.A. Holland that I let go for the Hetchins that I didn't keep.

Yes, just say “Velocult” 3x in a row while Ralph Stanley plays in the background.

And don't confuse Southside with Southside Hampton Roads.
