April through mid October in central Oregon. Personally, I hate riding when temps hit freezing, and even on warmer winter days it's not great with trails icy/snowy and bike lanes and shoulders full of gravel. Might change if I had a fat bike.

Not sure I know how to answer that anymore! It's supposed to be spring now, I think. But it was 84 yesterday (3/30) , isn't going to break 50 today, and possibility of snow flurries tonight.
Seasons??!!

Interesting point. Is spring the day in the 70s when the redbuds are blooming, or dogwood winter two days later when it frosts? (Looking out the window and seeing my dogwood is budding...)

Personal translation (incurable realist; optimist)
Ancient roadie, can't keep up with any horses, even with a westerly tailwind; overjoyed there are people out there to cycle to the end of the world.

Roll On
